Kenai is a world famous destination for salmon fishing. It is home of the record king salmon caught by the infamous “Uncle Les Anderson”.
Activities range from parasailing in Girdwood to world class halibut fishing in Homer, your options are endless. Our personal favorites include dinner at the Saltry in Halibut Cove, Kenai Fjord tours out of Seward, and hiking Winner Creek Trail at the Alyeska Resort. The drive between these cities is breathtaking, but try not to blink as you could miss the wildlife all around you, such as moose, bears, eagles, and caribou.
